Free Post - Fishing After the Flood

It is time to get out and do some fishing. The best advise at the moment is to out with an open mind and try new things. Troll areas with diving lures that you normally pass by on your way to a favourite spot. Fish your plastics and baits slower and deeper. Keep an eye on your sounder to see if any new structure appears as plenty of new timber has made its way down stream.

Start a diary and keep records, it will help in the long run, but most of all get out there and have some fun. You won't catch any fish sitting in your lounge chair.

  1. Amazing to think that this shit weather will actually improve the fishing. Looking forward to seeing the upper Noosa clear up a bit though. looks like a chocolate milkshake at the moment.
Got some nice bream in front of the Council Chambers on fly. They were good looking fish too, no sores on them. First of the run out tide, intermediate line and a 'Bushy's Bream Fly'.
